Your new role

• Design creative and structured lessons that support early learning and build confidence
• Establish a nurturing classroom environment where children feel safe, encouraged, and ready to learn
• Deliver the KS1 curriculum with enthusiasm, adapting to meet varied learning needs
• Promote positive behaviour and routines that foster respect and independence
• Engage in school-wide activities and contribute to a collaborative staff culture
• Help shape a learning experience that celebrates every child’s progress and individuality

What you'll need to succeed

• QTS and recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
• A confident grasp of the primary curriculum and ability to plan and assess effectively
• A warm, flexible teaching approach with strong behaviour management
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Availability to begin in January and commit through to the end of the academic year
