Your new role
- Deliver engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
- Support pupils as they transition from EYFS into more formal learning
- Use assessment effectively to track progress and tailor support
- Work closely with the KS1 team, support staff, and SLT
- Foster a classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and motivated
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in KS1 (placement experience considered)
- Strong understanding of phonics and early literacy development
- A warm, positive approach and a genuine passion for teaching
- The ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
