Your new role

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and confidence in young learners
• Create a supportive classroom environment where children feel valued and motivated
• Teach the KS1 curriculum with creativity, adapting to meet diverse learning needs
• Encourage positive behaviour and routines that promote independence and respect
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider school community
• Celebrate each child’s progress and individuality through thoughtful assessment and feedback

What you'll need to succeed

• QTS and recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and ability to plan effectively for part-time teaching
• A flexible, nurturing approach with excellent classroom management skills
• Clear communication and a collaborative mindset
• Availability to begin in January and commit to 2–3 days per week through the academic year
