Your new role

• Deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
• Support pupils as they transition from EYFS into more formal learning
• Use assessment effectively to track progress and inform planning
• Work closely with the KS1 team, support staff, and senior leaders
• Create a warm, stimulating classroom environment where children can thrive

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in KS1 (placement experience considered)
• Strong understanding of phonics and early literacy development
• A positive, nurturing approach to teaching
• The ability to build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families
