Year 1 Class Teacher - Maternity cover

We are currently working with a welcoming Primary School in Swindon that are seeking an experienced KS1 Teacher to provide long‑term cover from February half-term. This role is to last for one year, covering the current class teacher who is on maternity leave.

⭐ Year 1 Class Teacher – maternity cover
Full-time strongly preferred (part-time considered)
The school is looking for a warm, nuturing teacher with experience planning and delivering lessons. Consistency is important to ensure continuity for students, so full-time availability will be prioritised—though part-time applicants with strong experience may still be considered.
This role will involve planning, delivering lessons, phonics screening and monitoring pupil progress.

  • Experience teaching Key stage one classes
  • Experience of a variety of phonics schemes.
  • Confidence in classroom management and supporting student progress
  • Working with staff, to provide the best quality educational experience.
