**Working Supervisor Required for Ongoing Industrial Scheme**

Your new company

Hays NI are pleased to be working once again with a family-owned Building Contracting contractor that has been operating for over 55 years at the forefront of the construction industry at a local level. Specialising in commercial, education, leisure and construction of social and affordable homes, both in the North and South of Ireland, they now require an experienced Working Supervisor to join their team on an ongoing commercial scheme. Having carried out work ranging from one-off new-build homes and industrial premises to developments of up to 150 units in the private and public housing markets, they have been a key provider of construction services during the upgrade and refurbishment of social housing over the last 25 years.

Your new role

Initially, you will be based onsite working on an industrial scheme in South Down. You will be very much a hands-on Supervisor, leading the site team on site to deliver the high-quality results that the company has consistently delivered. You will be required to maintain health and safety standards whilst motivating the team to deliver the project on time and within budget. This is initially a temporary role with the potential for long-term works. This is an excellent opportunity to gain future permanent employment with a contractor who will invest in your future and assist with learning and development opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in this role, you must have relevant experience of working on fast-paced building schemes at the head of site teams, preferably within commercial projects. You will be a self-starter, with a can-do attitude and a good level of organisation. You will possess a high level of communication and be responsible for ensuring the site team are briefed daily on the scheduled works programme. You will be able to motivate the team to ensure works are carried out promptly and all reports are addressed.

What you'll get in return

On offer to the successful candidate in this role is the potential for a long-term, permanent role on a site in South Down. Your new employer has an enviable order book beyond this job also, offering a stable pipeline of works for you. You will avail of a competitive hourly rate and sustained work on an NI-based project for a key client.
