Your new role

You will lead the design, planning, and execution of a Windows 11 upgrade project for the council, covering 1000 devices and numerous applications. Working independently, you’ll mentor IT team members and use your expertise in Windows 11, SCCM, Intune, AD, GPOs, and PowerShell to ensure a seamless migration. Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills are essential for identifying issues, offering solutions, and consulting with senior stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

• Windows 11 Expertise: Proficient in designing, building, and implementing Windows 11 upgrades.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong skills in SCCM, Intune, Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and PowerShell scripting.
• Project Management: Ability to lead the design, planning, and execution of large-scale upgrade projects.
• Problem-Solving: Strong fact-finding and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
• Security and Compliance: Ensuring system security, compliance, and performance standards are maintained.
