Location: Inverness
Contract: Temporary – approximately 6 months
Hours: 12-hour shifts (7am–7pm) or 4 on / 4 off
Pay: £15.12 per hour + holiday pay

You will be working as a Warehouse Operative on a temporary assignment for approximately 6 months based in Inverness.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include, but will not be limited to, receiving goods and checking delivery notes, inspecting deliveries for damaged or missing items, sorting and storing stock safely within the warehouse, carrying out stock control and maintaining accurate records using the warehouse management system, picking orders using handheld scanners, preparing goods for packing and dispatch, maintaining cleanliness and good organisation within the warehouse.

Shift Pattern

12-hour day shifts: 7am – 7pm on a 4 on / 4 off rotational pattern

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment would be desirable but not essential as full training is provided. Clear communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience using stock management or warehouse systems, a strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions, a responsible approach to health and safety, quality, and operating procedures and an ability to work effectively as part of a team.
