We have a requirement for a Warehouse Operative with our manufacturing client in Banbridge.

Your New Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Storing materials in designated locations to maintain an organised warehouse
  • Assisting with stock control, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy
  • Supporting stock rotation and maintaining housekeeping standards
  • Preparing and labelling shipments
  • Loading goods onto vehicles safely and in line with delivery schedules
  • Adhering to all company Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised work area
  • Using equipment safely and responsibly
  • Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks, shrink wrappers, and forklifts (where trained and authorised)
  • Completing paperwork and digital records accurately, including delivery notes, stock movements, and inventory updates
  • Working closely with warehouse colleagues, drivers, and other departments to meet daily targets
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Carrying out any other reasonable duties as requested by management

What You Need to Succeed
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting/moving heavy items
  • Good organisational and time‑management skills
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • A proactive, positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
Desirable
  • Valid forklift licence
  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, or M&E environments
  • Familiarity with stock control systems
