Your new role
As Warehouse Operations Manager, you’ll take ownership of warehouse operations and transport compliance across our national logistics network. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll manage teams, drive quality standards, and ensure full adherence to UK transport regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing stock control, goods movement, and warehouse logistics
  • Supporting the Operations Director in implementing a new ERP system as part of a larger organisation transformation
  • Leading and mentoring a small warehouse and transport team
  • Conducting quality audits and on-site service assessments
  • Managing transport planning, driver allocation, and compliance (tachographs, operator licencing, driver hours)
  • Collaborating with sales and supply chain teams to enhance service delivery
What you’ll need to succeed
We’re looking for a proactive, highly organised leader with:
  • Proven experience in logistics and warehousing management
  • Strong knowledge of UK transport regulations and compliance standards
  • Exceptional team leadership and coaching skills
  • A continuous improvement mindset and attention to detail
  • IT literacy with familiarity with Microsoft Excel
  • CPC in Transport Management (desirable) with a Forklift licence essential
