Key Responsibilities

• Deliver clear, commercially focused legal guidance across corporate, commercial, compliance and regulatory matters.
• Lead and manage M&A’s, JVs and other complex corporate matters.
• Support through debt restructuring and refinancing.
• Advise on intellectual property, compliance, litigation and data protection.
• Execute global and regional legal strategies at the local level, ensuring they align with business objectives and drive operational efficiency.
• Manage governance, compliance, and risk matters aligning with broader organisational standards.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and operational teams to support strategic decision-making and ensure policies, terms, and conditions are both legally sound and commercially effective.
• Enhance legal operations by refining processes, templates, and internal policies for greater efficiency.
• Work closely with the various internal functions such as Finance, HR and Procurement, alongside supporting multiple businesses in the group.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales with circa 12 years PQE+
• Substantial corporate and commercial experience, gained across both private practice and in-house roles.
• Strong experience leading through M&As, ideally, corporate experience gained in private practice.
• Corporate finance (capital structure, banking arrangements and integration / separation arrangements)
• Ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced international environment across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, bringing a pragmatic, adaptable, and solutions-oriented approach to complex legal challenges.
• Experience leading legal teams with a collaborative, inclusive leadership style that fosters alignment and accountability.
• Strong commercial and operational insight, balancing legal risk with business objectives.
