Your new role
- Teach a class of 30 pupils in Y5 or Y6.
- Plan and deliver engaging, well structured lessons as part of the year group team.
- Receive one full PPA day every fortnight, which may be completed from home.
- Work with TA support throughout the school day.
- Build relationships that support pupils through a period of change.
- Attend weekly staff meetings.
- Contribute to partially completed end of year reports.
- Take part in optional parent meetings following the distribution of reports.
- No residential commitments – this will be taking place in the spring 2 half term.
What you'll need to succeed
- A qualified primary teacher (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome).
- Warm, relational and committed to pastoral care.
- Skilled at building rapport and supporting pupils sensitively through transition.
- Confident in delivering the Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Organised, reflective and a collaborative team player.
