Underwriting Operations Analyst

A respected insurance organisation based in the City of London is looking to appoint an Underwriting Operations Analyst. The role sits within a central operations team and supports underwriting activity across a broad portfolio. This is a permanent opportunity offering a stable environment and exposure to key business functions.

Your New Role
The successful candidate will provide operational and technical support to underwriting and finance teams. Responsibilities include preparing management reports, assisting with monthly financial processes, and supporting regulatory submissions. The role also involves monitoring policy data accuracy, resolving external queries, and contributing to internal procedure improvements. You will also be involved in project work as required.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
You should have at least two years of experience in the London insurance market, ideally within a Lloyd’s environment. A solid understanding of underwriting operations and reporting is important, along with familiarity with policy systems and electronic placement tools. Progress toward a professional insurance qualification is preferred. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential.
