Tax and Trusts Associate role within a professional services business – Central Birmingham location
Your new company
A new opportunity has arisen for a Tax and Trusts Associate/ Executive to join a growing, multi-office professional services firm in Birmingham. Due to succession planning within the firm, a new opportunity has been created to join one of their specialist teams in a role supporting clients with a range of matters associated with estates, personal tax and trusts.
Your new role
Working closely with an experienced Trusts and Tax Manager, you will help clients with tax returns, trust administration and other matters associated with their estates. This will involve accurately preparing accounts and tax returns for review, completing capital gains and inheritance tax calculations, collaborating with colleagues within your direct team and more widely across the firm and helping to manage client affairs with a high degree of professionalism.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will have gained prior experience preparing tax returns for clients either within an accountancy firm or a similar business (a minimum of 12m experience is required). You will have an interest in trusts and will be keen to further develop your knowledge in this area. It is essential that you are able to demonstrate the following skills:

High levels of professionalism and excellent client relationship skills
