Excellent career growth opportunity in Trust Tax with a global consulting firm in Manchester or Liverpool

Your new company

You’ll be joining a well‑established professional services firm with a strong global presence and a reputation for delivering high‑quality audit, tax and advisory services. The organisation values independent thinking, integrity and inclusion, and is committed to providing clients with a proactive, agile and personal experience. You’ll be part of a culture that encourages collaboration, supports development and empowers people to bring their whole selves to work.

Your new role

As a Manager within the Trusts Tax team, you’ll take responsibility for a varied portfolio of trust clients, supported by an experienced leadership group and a strong network of colleagues across the wider tax practice. You’ll contribute to the delivery of high‑quality compliance and advisory work, participate in client meetings, and provide clear, confident responses to technical queries.

You’ll also play a key role in developing junior team members, supporting their technical growth and career progression. This is an opportunity to join a high‑performing team where your ideas will be valued, and your contribution will make a meaningful impact. Flexible working options, including reduced hours and job‑share arrangements, are available.

What you'll need to succeed

You’ll bring a solid working knowledge of Trusts Tax and experience managing your own client portfolio. You’ll hold a relevant professional qualification (CTA or STEP) with post‑qualification experience and be confident in delivering high‑quality work to deadlines.
It would be beneficial — though not essential — if you also had:
  • Experience in trust and/or private client advisory work, including inheritance tax planning and trust structuring
  • Trust compliance experience
  • Knowledge of onshore trusts (offshore trust experience is desirable but not required)
  • Experience working with a varied portfolio of trust clients
Most importantly, you’ll be committed to your professional development, enjoy building relationships and be ready to contribute to a supportive and ambitious team.

What you'll get in return

You’ll join an inclusive, supportive culture where individuality is valued, and your wellbeing is prioritised. The organisation offers flexible working options to help you balance life and work, along with opportunities for secondments, community involvement and collaboration across global teams.

  • A culture that values curiosity, integrity and doing what’s right
  • Access to leaders who are genuinely invested in your development
  • Opportunities to contribute to meaningful initiatives beyond your day‑to‑day role
  • The freedom to bring your whole self to work and pursue your passions
If you’re looking for a role where you can grow, contribute and go beyond expectations, this is an opportunity to make a real impact within a forward‑thinking professional services environment.
