Your new role
To manage, plan, assess and develop Treasury Department resources and services provided to the business ensuring that all underlying payment and receipt processes inclusive of statutory and regulatory requirements and governance arrangements are effectively and efficiently delivered in a manner consistent with the objectives of the Company.

The main areas of scope for the role includes oversight of accounting requirements, cash management and key reporting requirements and being responsible for Group cashflow reporting and forecasting.

To manage and control departmental budgets, leading a team of 11 staff across the 3 distinct sections of Treasury (Cashiers/Payables, Banking and Accounts Receivable) ensuring effective and consistent management of all staff.

Managing all aspects of (contracted) group bank and financial service providers which are critical for daily revenue collection activities across the Group (including scoping of all service requirements) within the overall cash management cycle at both a management and operational level while ensuring systems mitigate the risk of fraud/misappropriation.

What you'll need to succeed
Experience of testing, implementing and supporting distributed systems in customer facing environment e.g. network of payment card terminals.

Experience of budget preparation and management, and cash flow preparation and management.

Drive and determination, and problem-solving skills in order to deliver effective results.

QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified accountant with membership of CCAB or equivalent, with minimum of 2 years industry/commercial
3 experience.

TECHNICAL JOB SKILLS

Detailed working knowledge and experience of financial/cash management instruments and solutions
Experience of taxes including, VAT, CIS and intrastat
Detailed working knowledge of accounting principles and accounting software
Detailed working knowledge of Microsoft suite of software complemented with advanced analytical skills through use of MS SQL query design, pivot tables and micros
