This is an exciting time to join our client's company as they build their transport team. In this role you will play a key part in ensuring operational performance, maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers – existing and new.

Your new role

With a strong background in shipping, you will be able to effectively manage and optimise cost-efficient bookings for deliveries and dock storage of containers.

You will be the liaison between departments, updating on any delays or changes to delivery statuses.
You will track and monitor volumes of transits and bookings, ensuring deadlines and targets are met.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have worked in a fast-paced, logistics environment previously and be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of supply routes. You will be used to tracking and monitoring deliveries and be able to identify and resolve delays or issues in a timely manner, ensuring excellent communication with the relevant internal teams to maintain high standards of customer service.

Knowledge of customs legislation is highly beneficial to this role.
