About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Transformation Lead to drive strategic change and continuous improvement across our organisation. This role is pivotal in delivering high-impact transformation programmes that enhance service delivery, improve outcomes for citizens, and ensure value for money.
You will work collaboratively with senior leaders, service managers, and stakeholders to design and implement change initiatives aligned with organisational priorities and public sector values.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and delivery of transformation programmes and projects.
- Engage with stakeholders across departments to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Develop business cases, transformation roadmaps, and benefits realisation plans.
- Apply change management methodologies to ensure successful adoption of new ways of working.
- Monitor and report on programme performance, risks, and benefits.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence.
- Ensure alignment with government policies, digital standards, and regulatory requirements.
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience leading transformation or change programmes in a complex public sector environment.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Demonstrable experience in project and programme management (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, Agile).
- Knowledge of public sector governance, procurement, and financial management.
- Ability to analyse complex problems and develop innovative, evidence-based solutions.
- Experience of managing multidisciplinary teams and working across organisational boundaries.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in digital transformation or service redesign.
- Familiarity with tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Systems Thinking.
