Company Secretarial Trainee

Your new company

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established professional services firm in a trainee capacity. The business offers an inclusive, collaborative and high‑performing environment, with excellent long-term career development and full support towards professional qualifications.

Your new role

As a Trainee Administrator, you will provide ongoing administrative support to the team and assist with the day-to-day administration of a diverse portfolio of corporate and fiduciary clients. You will play a key role in ensuring client relationships and transactions are managed efficiently, accurately and to a consistently high standard.
The role will involve managing client expectations and helping to build and maintain strong professional relationships. You will support the effective administration of workload, ensuring work is processed accurately and prioritised appropriately, statutory and transactional deadlines are met, and internal procedures are followed, including support with WIP and debt collection.
You will also be responsible for preparing, registering and filing statutory documents with Companies House, including incorporations, changes to share structures and allotments, officer changes and confirmation statements. In addition, you will liaise regularly with clients and third-party service providers such as accountants, tax advisers and lawyers to ensure all statutory and transactional obligations are met.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and desktop software, alongside excellent recordkeeping and documentation skills. You will be proactive, well‑organised and detail‑focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to build professional relationships and work collaboratively as part of a team. You will be self‑motivated and career‑driven, with a minimum of one year’s experience in a corporate service provider, law firm or in‑house company secretarial team, or alternatively a relevant degree in Law or Business.

What you'll get in return

In return, you will receive full CGI (Chartered Governance Institute) funding and study support, alongside structured training and clear opportunities for career progression. You will gain exposure to a broad range of corporate and fiduciary work within a supportive and professional environment that encourages long-term development.
