Accounts Assistant, Accounts Technician, IATI, ATI, Trainee

A growing compliance group is seeking a Trainee Accounts Technician to join its Group Finance team. This role offers a strong foundation for a career in finance and accountancy, supporting day-to-day financial operations across multiple business entities.
This is a hands-on role with impact across the entire organisation, ideal for someone eager to grow into an all-round accounts' role!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping and perform bank reconciliations
  • Process supplier invoices and contractor payments
  • Assist with VAT returns, month-end procedures, and payroll processing
  • Support HR administration
  • Ensure compliance with financial and employment regulations

Ideal Candidate:

  • Studying or planning to enrol in an Accounts Technician programme (AAT equivalent)
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
  • Clear communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Entry level Finance or Admin Experience
