Trainee Accountant. Study Support. Hybrid Working

I am representing a prominent employer in the Greater Belfast area, seeking a Trainee Accountant to join their dynamic and expanding team. This well-established and renowned organisation boasts a highly experienced finance department and is looking for an ambitious individual to contribute to their continued growth.
Your new role
As a valued member of the team, the individual will be responsible for the following duties:
Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support organisational planning
Monitoring budget performance and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Performing weekly bank reconciliations and contributing to cash flow forecasting
Maintaining effective financial controls and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records
Preparing statutory accounts and producing clear, informative management reports
Responding to accounting queries and providing support to system users to facilitate smooth operations
What you'll need to succeed
Applicants should be educated to university degree level in a relevant subject with 6 – 12 months of undergraduate work experience, where course structure supports this.
