Traffic Marshal

About the Role:

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Traffic Marshal to join our team on a busy construction site. This role is essential to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment by managing vehicle movements and ensuring pedestrian safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directing and guiding vehicles and planting machinery safely around the site
  • Managing access and egress points for deliveries and site traffic
  • Ensuring pedestrian routes are clearly marked and protected
  • Communicating effectively with site operatives and delivery drivers
  • Monitoring and enforcing site safety protocols
  • Supporting general site operations when required
Requirements:
  • Valid Traffic Marshal (Banksman) certification
  • CSCS card (required)
  • Previous experience in a similar role on a construction or infrastructure site
  • Strong awareness of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to remain calm and focused on a dynamic environment
