Temporary Senior Administrator

Your new company

A public sector organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Administrator to join its team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and proactive administrator to support a busy project-focused team, ensuring the smooth delivery of development and improvement programmes. An immediate start is preferred.


Your new role

As a Senior Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to a busy Development Team, helping to coordinate projects, manage records, and maintain effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

You will play a key role in ensuring projects progress efficiently while delivering a professional and customer-focused service.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support across a range of development and improvement projects.

  • Maintaining accurate project records, documentation, contracts, and filing systems.

  • Coordinating communication between stakeholders to support the smooth delivery of projects and project handovers.

  • Producing reports, monitoring project activity, and supporting performance and compliance processes.

  • Assisting with financial administration, including invoice processing, expenditure tracking, and funding-related documentation.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience within a senior administrative role

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage professionally with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Experience maintaining accurate records, databases, and reporting systems.

  • High levels of attention to detail and accuracy when handling documentation and data.

  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications and database management systems.

  • A proactive and customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.
