Hays are supporting a fantastic organisation in Cambridge who are looking for a Marketing Manager to assist with the successful launch of a new product. This position is being offered on a temporary basis for circa 3 months+.
Your new role
As the Marketing Manager, you will be pivotal in developing and executing marketing strategies that generate awareness, build brand credibility, and drive product adoption. This will include:
- Product Launch Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for the launch of the medical device. Identify key target audiences, including healthcare professionals, distributors, and end-users, and tailor marketing efforts to effectively reach each group. Plan and manage product launch timelines, ensuring all activities are aligned with launch milestones.
- Marketing Campaigns: Create multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and social media, to promote the product’s key benefits and applications. Manage content creation for marketing materials, including brochures, websites, email marketing, press releases, and case studies. Oversee paid media campaigns, SEO/SEM, and digital advertising strategies to drive product visibility.
- Sales Enablement: Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop sales tools, presentations, and promotional materials that align with product positioning and market needs. Ensure the sales team is fully equipped with the latest product information, competitive insights, and marketing assets.
- Regulatory and Compliance: Working alongside inhouse regulatory team to ensure all marketing content adheres to regulatory requirements and compliance standards for medical devices. Work with regulatory teams to manage approval processes for marketing materials.
- Market Research & Insights: Conduct competitive analysis and market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and opportunities for differentiation. Gather and analyse feedback from sales teams, healthcare professionals, and customers to refine marketing strategies.
- Event and Conference Management: Organise product demonstrations, trade show booths, and presentations at industry conferences and medical conventions. Manage event logistics, collateral, and post-event follow-up to maximise engagement.
- Performance Metrics: Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and product launch activities. Utilise data-driven insights to optimise marketing efforts and improve return on investment (ROI).
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in marketing, preferably in the medical device, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industries
Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee complex launch plans and meet deadlines
Proficiency in digital marketing, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media strategy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for different platforms.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and marketing standards for medical devices is a plus.
Available for immediate start.
