Your new role

As the Credit Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, maintaining accurate records and supporting the wider finance function during a busy period. As part of the role, you will manage customer accounts and monitor overdue balances, contact clients to arrange payment of outstanding invoices, reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies and prepare regular reports on debtor status and cash flow.

This role is offered on a three month temporary contract on a full-time basis. This role will be based from the office in South Essex.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful for this role, you should have previous experience in credit control and be able to work independently. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential and you should be proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
