Your new company

A public sector organisation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis with an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity to support a key team, working within a fast-paced environment where accuracy, organisation and strong communication skills are essential.

Your new role

Working closely with internal colleagues and external stakeholders, you will manage a variety of administrative tasks while maintaining high levels of accuracy and customer service.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the administration and processing of programme-related information in line with established procedures.
  • Reviewing and updating records to ensure information is accurately maintained.
  • Managing and maintaining information across internal systems and databases.
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders via telephone and email, responding to queries and providing updates where required.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and supporting effective record-keeping processes.
  • Providing administrative support to the wider team to ensure the smooth delivery of day-to-day activities.
  • Assisting other departments with ad hoc administrative tasks and project support as required.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Previous administration experience within a busy office environment.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with databases and internal systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence speaking to customers and stakeholders over the phone and via email.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • A proactive approach, with the confidence to take initiative and ask questions when required.
