Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Employee Relations (ER) Advisor to join their People function. This role will provide high‑level ER expertise, support leaders across the organisation, and play a key part in delivering people-focused change initiatives.

Your new role

Provide expert guidance on complex ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and investigations.
Coach and support managers to make confident, compliant and well-informed decisions.
Lead and contribute to people-related projects such as policy development, organisational change and restructures.
Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver ER training to build manager capability.
Analyse people data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure ER activity is updated within HR systems.

What you'll need to succeed

Strong ER background with proven experience handling complex casework.
Up‑to‑date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
Excellent coaching, influencing and communication skills.
Experience supporting organisational change and people‑centric projects.
Strong analytical skills and confidence using HR systems and Microsoft tools.
CIPD qualified, working toward CIPD, or equivalent relevant experience.
