Telehandler needed in LE2

Telehandler Operator – Leicester (LE2)

Rate: £20.93 per hour
Duration: 2 weeks (potential for extension depending on site progress)
Start Date: ASAP
Project: New Build Housing Development
Certification: NPORS or CPCS Telehandler

We are recruiting an experienced Telehandler Operator for a busy new build housing site in LE2. This is a 2‑week contract supporting a well-established residential contractor during a key stage of their build programme.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Operating the telehandler safely and efficiently across the site
  • Assisting trades with lifting, moving, and distributing materials
  • Supporting site management with daily logistics
  • Loading/unloading deliveries
  • Maintaining clear lifting routes and ensuring safe working areas
  • Following site health & safety protocols at all times
  • Carrying out basic daily machine checks

Requirements:
  • Valid NPORS or CPCS Telehandler ticket
  • Previous experience on a new build housing site (desired)
  • Strong awareness of site safety
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with site teams
  • Full PPE
