Hays have secured a contract for a qualified Telehandler to work with one of our public sector clients.
Your new company
You will be joining one of the largest employers in the Dundee area, working as part of the stores department. Due to a large delivery, they are looking to employ a telehandler to deal with this increase in workload, starting late January 2026.
Your new role
You will be required to undertake the following duties:
- Operate a telehandler safely in line with the organisation's policies and procedures
- Handle pallets, bulk materials, and other loads using appropriate attachments.
- Inspect the telehandler for mechanical issues, fluid levels, and safety compliance before use.
- Support other tasks when telehandler operation is not required, such as tidying work areas.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have a valid telehandler ticket, either CPCS or NPORs and ideally be comfortable working in a store environment. You will need to be able to make your way onto site for an early start where there is free parking and facilities.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a foot in the door at one of the largest employers in the Dundee area, with the opportunity for the contract to be extended. You will be paid PAYE weekly with the option for annual leave to be built up.
