Technician 3 | HAYS | Northwood

Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a Technician 3.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable technician to support the Migration Set-up and Refresh Clinic operations. This role involves hands-on device handling, system login support, workflow updates, and coordination with technical and site management teams. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment under guidance.

  • Location: Northwood
  • Daily Rate: £19.38/hr. – PAYE, £25.15/hr. – UMB
  • Contract Day: 2 Jan 26 till 06 March 26 from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:
  • Relocate the required quantity of devices from onsite storage to the Refresh Clinic as per instructions from the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager.
  • Assist in securing devices in the onsite storage location at the end of each day.
  • Log in to systems using devices provided by the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager, following their instructions.
  • Participate in the refresh process of laptops as per project guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate updates to the Contractor’s workflow management system at all relevant steps.
  • Seek guidance from the Post Migration Technical Support Specialist and Site Manager as needed.
  • Assist in conducting daily manual stock checks and report findings promptly.

Key Requirements:
  • Must hold a valid SC Clearance.
  • Basic understanding of IT systems and device handling.
  • Ability to follow instructions and report effectively.
  • Comfortable working under supervision and in coordination with multiple stakeholders.
