About the role

SC-cleared engineers to support with deskside laptop handovers for judicial staff. Each engineer will be responsible for completing handovers for approximately 40 judges across various UK regions.

Our client is currently looking for a recruit in joining their current team, below are the job details for your reference:

Shifts: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)

Location: Salford Quays - Manchester

Working Hours : 09:00am to 5:30pm

Contract Duration: 3 Months

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform deskside laptop handovers for judges, averaging 3 handovers per week
• Schedule appointments and attend centrally coordinated deployments
• Participate in 2 – 3 days of training on the handover process
• Shadow existing engineers during initial deployments
• Provide on-the-day configuration and support documentation
• Remain on-site during handovers (typically ~2 hours), with flexibility for overruns
• Deploy laptops using trolleys and full toolkits across multiple locations

Other stuff we’re potentially looking for:

• Active SC Clearance is mandatory
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
• Comfortable working in a structured, high-security environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
