Contract Opportunity Installation Technician – Active SC Clearance
Job Overview:
A fantastic opportunity for an Installation Technician to support a large-scale office move in London. You will handle the deployment, installation, movement, and configuration of IT hardware across multiple floors. This role requires someone physically fit, security cleared, and confident working in a fast-paced technical environment.
• Location: On-site — 2 Endeavour Square, London, E20 1JN
• Daily Rate: £19.85 per hour (PAYE) OR £25.77 per hour (Umbrella)
• Contract Length: 09 February 2026 – 31 July 2026
• Start Date: 09 Feb'26 / ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
• Transport, move, and distribute IT equipment (PCs, monitors, peripherals, network devices) across three floors
• Unpack, assemble, and position equipment at designated desks or areas
• Perform basic hardware installation including connecting cables, docking stations, monitors, and peripherals
• Assist with device imaging, configuration, and testing as directed by the technical team
• Label and inventory equipment in line with project standards • Remove and securely dispose of packaging materials
• Work safely and follow manual-handling best practices

Key Requirements:
• Must hold SC Clearance as a minimum and be willing to undertake customer Enhanced Clearance
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
• Experience with iMacs and general IT hardware
• Ability to follow technical instructions accurately • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
