Job Overview:
As a Technical Migration Support Engineer, where you'll be responsible for setting up desktop hardware and peripherals as part of IT roll out projects. This role involves on-site work, basic technical tasks, and excellent customer service, making it perfect for someone who enjoys practical, structured work in dynamic environments.

Location: Collingwood: Newgate Lane – Fareham
Daily Rate: A daily rate, in-scope IR35, of £19.38/hr (PAYE) OR £25.15/hr (via a Hays Approved Umbrella Company).
Contract Length: 2 Months
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
- Set-up Refresh Clinic. Move the required quantity of devices as instructed by the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager from the onsite storage location to the Refresh Clinic location.
- Login to any system as required via device(s) provided by the contractor's engineer and Site Manager and under their instructions.
- Collect existing devices from users and handover new devices in accordance with the migration schedule and project processes
- Handover and collect the correct number of devices each in accordance with the migration schedule.
- Correctly update the Contractor's workflow management system at all relevant steps
- Report issues arising from migration activity promptly and accurately to the contractor Engineer and Site Manager.
- Where issues cannot be resolved immediately, they pass them over to an onsite Post Migration Support Engineer.
- Conduct manual stock checks daily and report findings to the contractor engineer and site Manager
Key Requirements
- Active SC Clearance is mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
- Comfortable working in a structured, high-security environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
