Job Overview
The role involves supporting the end‑to‑end device refresh and migration process within a secure environment, requiring the individual to be SC‑cleared and capable of working onsite in a structured “Refresh Clinic” setup. The job includes managing device movements, refreshing laptops, assisting users during device handover, updating workflow systems accurately, coordinating with engineers, and ensuring issues are escalated appropriately. The individual will also maintain daily stock checks, follow strict device designation rules for disposal or refurbishment, and ensure that all devices and equipment are securely stored at the end of each day.

Start/End Date: 02/03/2026 to 31/03/2026
Work Schedule: Mon–Fri 09:00–17:30
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Clinic / Migration setup and overall refresh activities.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining the Refresh Clinic environment.
- Move the required number of devices from onsite storage to the Clinic as instructed by the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager.
- Log in to systems using contractor-provided devices under direct guidance.
- Perform laptop refresh activities as part of the migration process.
- Collect users’ existing devices and issue new devices according to the migration schedule.
- Ensure accurate handover and collection of the correct quantity of devices.
- Update the Contractor’s workflow management system accurately at every required step.
- Identify and promptly report migration‑related issues to the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the Post‑Migration Support Engineer.
- Carry out daily manual stock checks and report findings.
- Place returned devices into the original packaging of new devices and label them appropriately for disposal or refurbishment as per designation rules.
- Ensure all devices and equipment are securely moved back to onsite storage at the end of each day.
Required Skills
- SC Clearance — mandatory for performing the role.
- Ability to follow structured technical and procedural instructions accurately.
- Experience handling IT hardware, particularly laptops and accessories.
- Strong organisational skills for managing device flow, inventory, and documentation.
- Basic technical proficiency to perform login, verification, and refresh steps.
- Good communication skills for interacting with users and reporting issues to engineers.
- Attention to detail when updating workflow systems and labelling devices.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced migration or deployment environment.
- Problem‑solving mindset with readiness to escalate issues when needed.
