Tech 2 Contract Role – Warrington | Leading UK Telecom Project
Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a technician 2 with expertise in the IT domain. You will collaborate with our client’s technical team. You will be responsible for Technical/IT support.
Our client is currently looking for a recruit to join their current team. Below are the job details for your reference:

Location: Warrington (Onsite)
Contract: 13th Oct’25 - 31st Oct’25
Pay Rates:
Umbrella Rate:£18.87 per hour (via a Hays approved umbrella company).
PAYE Basic Rate:£14.54per hour
Hours:37.5 hours a week. Monday – Friday.
Time:9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- You will ensure all SLA’s and KPIs are delivered, and where this is not the case, ensure SIP’s are put in place to drive up performance. This includes
Monitoring customer feedback, complaints and service results, and providing support and guidance to Operational Managers - You will maintain & participate in a culture of continuous service improvement.
- You will develop yourself in line with your PDP and goals.
- You will be able to lead and participate in testing, deploying and maintaining all aspects of the Customer Contact Centre Desktop estate (Hardware and Software).
- You will be able to participate in and manage uplift activity, accurate site and stock governance, assist with new entrant training and ad-Hoc local and national IT projects, and support the release of new software/hardware.
- You will be able to work within client safety and security guidelines according to compliance obligations.
- You will be able to identify and drive service improvement opportunities as an individual and as part of the wider team/unit.
- You will consistently maintain accurate records to understand the estate, track trends and drive full RCA.
- You will be fully customer-centric. Able to act as a liaison between technical and non-technical customers, communicating effectively using a variety of media between different strata within the internal and external customer hierarchy.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in maintaining CCC desktop estate.
- Strong product related technical background.
- Knowledge of Windows 10, Office 2016 and Office 365.
- SCCM Knowledge.
- Manual installations, handover users end-training.
- VPN/Wireless knowledge.
- Can work for SLA’s.
- Provision of on-site support for maintenance calls.
- Act as a focal point for all work being undertaken in specific areas.
- To work as a member of the team to provide the most effective method of service delivery
- To cover any IT related tasks when required within the scope of the contract.
- VIP/Exec support
- Knowledge of basic printer maintenance.
