Contract Opportunity - Technician 2 – Salisbury – SC Cleared
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Tech2 Engineer to support an on-site deployment project. The role involves installing new devices and managing legacy equipment while ensuring compliance with security protocols. SC clearance is mandatory.
- Location: On-site (Salisbury, SP4 0JG)
- Hourly Rate: £18.87 via Umbrella / £14.54 via PAYE
- Contract Length: 26 January 2026 – 03 March 2026
- Start Date: 26 January 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy new devices on-site according to project requirements
- Safely store and manage legacy devices
- Ensure compliance with security and operational standards
- Provide technical support during deployment
- Maintain accurate records of deployed and stored equipment
- Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues
Key Requirements:
- Active Government SC Clearance
- Previous experience in technical deployments or IT hardware support
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
