Exciting Technician 2 Opportunity – Leading Infrastructure Rollout in Kidlington

Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a technician 2 with expertise in the IT domain. You will collaborate with our client’s technical team. You will be responsible for Technical/IT support.

Our client is currently looking for a recruit to join their current team. Below are the job details for your reference:

Location:Kidlington (Onsite)

Contract: 17th Oct’25 – 7th Nov’25

Mandatory Check : SC Cleared

Pay Rates:Umbrella Rate: £18.87per hour (via a Hays approved umbrella company).

PAYE Basic Rate:£14.54 per hour

Hours: 37.5 hours a week. Monday – Friday.

Time:9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Laptop Deployment Engineer on a customer site in Kidlington. The engineer should be SC cleared and must be prepared to submit forms for further vetting. The customer can process these quickly.

The engineer will follow a customer script to hand over new-build Win11 laptops to customer staff.

Key Requirements:

Active SC clearance
Willingness to complete additional vetting forms
Experience with Windows 11 deployments
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to follow structured procedures and scripts
