Rate: PAYE – £14.54/hr (Basic) or UMB – £18.87/hr (Under IR35)
Start/End Date: 08-Dec-2026 to 31- Dec-2025
Work Schedule: Mon–Fri 09:00–17:30
Job Description:
- Review the Inventox custom scheduling software for users who will arrive that day for a deployment
- Print out the schedules, including any documents related to the users' arrival, and marry those up with any “how-to” documents for the user.
- Put all paperwork in a folder for the day of arrival (we ran sheets in the late afternoon) and on that morning, spread them out for users to pick up by their own name.
- Lay out the deployment area – including computers, pens, paperwork, signs, etc. every morning and clean it up every evening.
- Provide assurance to customers on the exact start time of the deployment meeting and remind them all to be there and pay attention.
- Provide a deployment meeting with the group receiving a computer that day and inform them of the process.
- Distribute computers to customers and ask for questions
- Ensure that we have a log of which computer went to which person (it may change if a computer fails before they leave)
- Be prepared to answer questions regarding hardware, software, data transfer, or the process for moving to the new computer.
- Provide basic computer assistance as much as they are able for the transition
- Remind them that they cannot take their old computer with them (they will need to be firm but fair and kind about that)
- Track the day's deployments – there will be two cycles – an AM and a PM.
- Wrap up at end of day – make sure all equipment is locked up, all asset information is captured, all old equipment is accounted for, etc.
- Candidates must go through the BPSS clearance.
