Short Contract Role | HAYS | London

About the role
The Deployment Engineer will support the Project by executing a range of deployment activities across designated sites. Working closely with the Regional Deployment Manager (RDM), the engineer will follow detailed instructions provided in advance and ensure all tasks are completed to project standards. This role requires valid SC clearance and a strong understanding of IT deployment processes in secure environments.

Shifts: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)
Location: Field House: 15-25 Breams Buildings, London
Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Contract Duration: 20th October 2025 & 21st October 2025

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the customer’s Regional Deployment Manager (RDM) to carry out scheduled deployment events.
  • Follow detailed Engineer Instructions provided prior to each deployment day.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade desktop and laptop devices as part of the Project.
  • Ensure all deployment activities are completed accurately, securely, and within the allocated timeframe.
  • Maintain professional conduct and discretion while working in secure government environments.
  • Report progress, issues, and completion status to the RDM and project team.
  • Adhere to all site-specific security protocols and health & safety guidelines.

Other stuff we’re potentially looking for:
  • Valid Security Clearance (SC) is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in IT deployment, hardware installation, or upgrade projects.
  • Ability to follow structured instructions and work collaboratively with customer stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Flexibility to travel to various sites as required.
