About the role
The Re-installation & Install Engineer is responsible for executing IT hardware re-installation and new installations across designated areas of a branch site. This includes setting up monitor screens on newly supplied arms, installing ID scanners, network printers, and configuring customer-facing areas such as Tech Bars and Self-Service Rooms. The role requires strict adherence to safety protocols, accurate documentation, and effective communication with the project team. Engineers must be prepared to work in active, decommissioned, or construction environments.

Shifts: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)
Location: 8 Market Place Cirencester, Gloucestershire
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Contract Duration: 10th November 2025
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Re-install IT equipment on the Ground Floor:
- 1x Quiet Room (Quiet Room 2): Install monitor screens onto newly supplied monitor arms.
- 2x Counter Positions
- 2x Admin Positions
- 1x ID Scanner
- 1x Network Printer (Admin)
- Re-install IT equipment on the First Floor:
- 4x Quiet Rooms: Install monitor screens onto newly supplied monitor arms.
- 1x ID Scanner
- 1x Network Printer (outside upstairs offices)
- Install new equipment on the Ground Floor:
- 1x Customer Self-Service Room
- 1x Tech Bar (may require tablet – to be confirmed)
- Install 1x Kensington lock for Tech Bar
- Ensure all monitor arms (supplied by the property) are correctly fitted and screens securely mounted.
- Fill storage boxes per position for removal from site.
- Wear full PPE at all times, especially on decommissioned or construction sites:
- Hard hat
- High-visibility jacket
- Steel-cap boots
- Goggles
- Gloves
- Nose mask
- Review and understand all documentation provided via email prior to the site visit.
- Carry a hard copy of the ‘Sign-off Sheet’ and ensure it is completed onsite.
- Notify the project team upon arrival and again upon completion of work (including out-of-hours tasks).
- Adapt to varying site conditions, including those under construction or not fully operational.
Other stuff we’re potentially looking for:
- Experience in IT hardware installation and onsite deployment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Physical capability to handle and move equipment safely.
- Commitment to health and safety standards, especially in high-risk environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
