Job Overview:
- Role: IT Support Analyst – L1 On-site
- Location: Cardiff
- Contract: 26th July’27 – 27th July’27
- Pay Rates:
- Umbrella Rate: £17.45/hour (via a Hays approved umbrella company).
- PAYE Basic Rate: £13.45/hour
- Work schedule: Monday to Thursday
- Time: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- T1 Technician On-site Site-Based engineer
- Installation Technicians provide desktop hardware installation services where basic technical skills are required for a service delivery solution. Installation Technicians will typically unbox and install the kit to the desk, connect peripherals, connect cables (e.g. power and network) and perform any relevant power self-tests.
- Basic steps to start automated builds and simple scripted post-login configuration may also be required.
- Technicians may be asked to work variable shift patterns as business requires.
- Additionally, upkeep of system records, principally ServiceNow. Strict adherence to procedures, scripts and polices is a must.
- Flexibility of working days will be required, though minimal, with notice.
- This is a 4 day per week role, Monday to Thursday.
