Job Overview:
As an Installation Technician, you will be providing installation and decommissioning of approximately 2,000 34-inch monitors, along with associated peripherals, across multiple workstations.
As an Installation Technician, you will be providing installation and decommissioning of approximately 2,000 34-inch monitors, along with associated peripherals, across multiple workstations.
- Location: Canary Wharf-E14 5GW
- Working Hours: 09:00am to 5:00pm
- Contract Duration: 27-Oct-25 till 28-Nov-25
- Daily Rate:A per hour rate, in-scope IR35, of £13.85/hr PAYE) OR £17.98/hr (via a Hays approved umbrella company)
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of new 34" monitors and peripherals (keyboards, mice, docking stations, etc.)
- Decommissioning and safe removal of existing monitor setups
- Cable management and workspace organisation to ensure a clean and functional setup
- Inventory tracking of all installed and removed equipment
- Troubleshooting basic hardware issues during installation
- Coordination with IT and facilities teams for logistics and scheduling
Key Requirements:
- Experience with hardware installation and workspace setups
- Ability to lift and move monitors and equipment safely
- Attention to detail and organisational skills
