IT Technical Solutions Manager
Location: Bristol (Hybrid)
Rate: £600 - £650 p/d
Type: Contract
A major public‑sector organisation is seeking an IT Technical Solutions Manager to lead its solution design function and oversee the delivery of secure, scalable and modern technology services. You will manage a team of Solution Architects, define enterprise standards, and ensure all solutions align with organisational strategy and best practice.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of Solution Architects.
Own end‑to‑end solution design from concept to transition.
Maintain Enterprise Architecture across business, data, application and infrastructure domains.
Ensure solutions are secure, resilient and aligned with ITIL Design & Transition processes.
Oversee architecture governance, documentation, design approvals and service catalogue accuracy.
Drive data integration, ETL/ELT design and data‑platform improvements.
Work closely with security to ensure GDPR and security compliance.
Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Support development of digital and technology strategies.

Essential Skills

Strong background in solution/enterprise architecture.
Experience leading technical teams.
Expertise in Azure, Microsoft technologies and modern integration patterns.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Knowledge of ITIL, security principles and data‑platform practices.
