Your new role

As Technical Manager, you will lead the technical and quality agenda across a fast-paced food production site, ensuring compliance with all food safety, quality, and regulatory standards. You will manage a dedicated technical team, oversee internal and external audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Working closely with production, NPD, and commercial teams, you will play a key role in maintaining customer confidence and supporting the delivery of high-quality, innovative products. This is a hands-on leadership role with real scope to influence and shape technical strategy within a growing business.


What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in food manufacturing, with proven experience in a technical or quality leadership position. You’ll be well-versed in food safety standards, including BRC, HACCP, and retailer codes of practice. A natural leader, you’ll have the ability to manage and develop a team, communicate effectively across departments, and build strong relationships with customers and auditors. A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for continuous improvement will be key to thriving in this fast-paced environment.
