Team Leader - Temporary - ASAP Start - £19.65 per hour

Your new role

This is an exciting 6-month opportunity within the Business Support Service as a Team Leader to lead the Emergency Duty Team (EDT).
As a Team Leader, you will have a pivotal role in supporting the smooth and efficient delivery of all aspects of the services and work closely with others in the Business Support Services team.

The primary role of the EDT team is to provide essential support to frontline social work staff. The team works closely with practice staff to ensure data is up-to-date and that the care system reflects accurate and timely information about Children and Families.


What you'll need to succeed

The EDT team work out of hours and, as such, you will work within the hours of 17:15–01:30 with occasional later or weekend work as the service requires.

You will be a ‘can-do' person, who is passionate about high quality service delivery and performance.

You will be able to work effectively within a dedicated team environment, be customer-focused and able to deliver the role with a flexible forward-thinking and creative approach.

You will have a critical role in the effective day-to-day running of the Business Support Service for EDT. You will have the experience of change and stakeholder management; possess outstanding leadership and management skills, be well-organised, creative and innovative in your thinking and approach.

You will have the skills and confidence to set work and meet tight deadlines; be articulate and proactive.

Further information

This is an initial 6-month contract with the potential to extend. The hourly pay rate for this role is £19.65 including holiday. You will be required to start this role as soon as possible.
