Team Leader – Counselling Services
Bereavement Support Team Leader
Location: working across all 10 Greater Manchester boroughs.
Salary: £29,724, 3 to 5 days.

As a Team Leader, you will oversee the delivery and development of therapeutic services within the support programme. You’ll split your time between supervising staff (50%) and providing direct casework support (50%). This role is key to ensuring high-quality service delivery, effective team support, and the growth of new initiatives across Greater Manchester.
Your key responsibilities will sit within staff management – delivering 1:1 supervision and casework support for designated staff, in collaboration with the CYP and CC Therapy Service Manager.
Along with leading the strategic development of the support service, you will also be responsible for contract monitoring and be able to provide therapeutic support and interventions to children, young people and adults alike.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be an experienced counsellor with team management experience and from a bereavement service background.
