About the Role
We are currently recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools in Leeds and Wakefield. These roles involve supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with a strong demand for candidates who have experience working with SEN and/or behavioural needs.
These opportunities suit committed and adaptable individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
- Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities
- Providing support for pupils with SEN, SEMH, and behavioural needs
- Promoting positive behaviour and engagement
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Following safeguarding and school policies at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
- Experience supporting SEN and/or behaviour needs (highly desirable)
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible and reliable attitude
