Your new school
We work exclusively with a single-form entry primary school in Wolverhampton, set in extensive grounds that provide a wealth of opportunities for learning and sporting activities. This school's vision is for every child to be inspired by an enriching and challenging learning journey that is enjoyable and relevant for the future. The school has a holistic nature, promoting positive mental health and well-being, and they focus on enhancing the life skills, social skills and cultural awareness of their children.
Your new role
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities
- Supporting individual pupils or small groups, including those with SEN
- Helping to manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Preparing resources and helping with classroom organisation
- Encouraging pupil engagement and progress across the curriculum
What you'll need to succeed
- Relevant experience of working with children in a school or childcare setting
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
- Patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills
- The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- A Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification is desirable, but not essential
