Your new role
You will work as a general EYFS Teaching Assistant within an F1 setting, supporting the class teacher and helping to create a warm, engaging, and structured learning environment.
Your duties will include:
You will work as a general EYFS Teaching Assistant within an F1 setting, supporting the class teacher and helping to create a warm, engaging, and structured learning environment.
Your duties will include:
- Supporting children through play‑based learning and guided activities
- Assisting with early phonics, communication, and language development
- Providing targeted support to groups or individual pupils as directed
- Helping to manage routines, transitions, and behaviour in a positive, nurturing way
- Preparing resources, setting up activities, and supporting assessment observations
- Working collaboratively with EYFS staff to promote progress and independence
This role is full‑time and will continue from ASAP until the summer term.

- Recent experience working within an EYFS or nursery setting (school or private sector)
- A solid understanding of child‑centred, play‑based learning
- A calm, patient, and engaging approach
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliability and a genuine passion for early years education
