Teaching Assistant Job in Eastham Starting in November

Job Title: Level 2 KS2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Eastham
Pay: £20,359 - £20,684
Working pattern: Part-Time, Term-Time
Hours: 32.5 hours per week
(Working hours: 8:45am to 3:45pm (6.5 hours per day) with a half hour unpaid lunch break, Monday to Friday inclusive)
Contract: Fixed Term from 03 November 2025 to 31 August 2026

Your new role
As a Level 2 (or above) qualified General Teaching Assistant, you’ll support a KS2 classroom in a Good-rated Ofsted school, working alongside the teacher to help manage daily routines and learning activities. You may assist small groups of children with tasks or provide general classroom support as well as being able to modify challenging behaviour by creating a positive and engaging learning environment. This is a flexible and rewarding role where your contribution makes a real difference every day.

What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be Level 2 qualified or above in childcare or education, with a proactive and supportive attitude. You should be confident working with children with different abilities, helping with group tasks and classroom routines. Strong communication, patience, and the ability to follow the teacher's direction are key. A genuine passion for education and a flexible approach will help you make a positive impact every day.
